Last week the Nonnebots competed in the New York City Regional. The robot performed beautifully, except for a... minor failure in the semi-finals. Thanks to the aid of teams 555 and 1660, the 3rd alliance walked away as finalists. It was a great time overall, from cramming into a small hotel, to eating 180 buffalo wings, to walking away with finalist hardware and the Industrial Design award for the first time since 2001. Also, by some sort of miracle, the team is now registered for the Championship in Atlanta, Georgia! Geoffrey the 8th can strut it's stuff again with it's elegant tetra grabber and slick drive wheels (complete with bling). Here's looing forward to another competition!
